The plain-language version

Atlanta VGA is a community golf association. We collect only what we need to run tournaments and keep you in the loop — nothing more. Here is exactly what that means.

What we collect

When you create an account, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, and golf handicap. When you register for an event, we keep a record of that registration so we can build pairings, track scores, and reserve your spot.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email address for that purpose. If you submit a sponsor inquiry, we keep the details you send us.

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe — we never see or store your card numbers.

How we use it

We use your information to run events: registration rosters, pairings, scoring, and prizes. We send you confirmations for events you register for, newsletters you opted into, and replies to sponsor inquiries you submitted. That's the whole list.

What we share

We share data with two service providers, only so the site can work: Stripe processes payments, and Resend delivers our emails. We never sell your information to third parties.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time — every email includes an unsubscribe link. If you'd like your account and data deleted, email us at info@atlvga.org and we'll take care of it.
